REQUESTS FOR prescription refills should be called directly to your pharmacy. They will then contact us for approval. Please allow 48 hours for processing (especially as some medications require prior approval from your insurance company). Prescriptions that require a written prescription (such as medication for ADD) should be called to our office at least 5 days before the medication will run out, as the doctor is sometimes not immediately available to write these prescription refills. In order to protect your child's safety, it is our office policy that prescriptions will not be refilled outside of the office hours. This enables the doctor to have your child's medical record available for review.
