Sick Child Appointments

As we all know, children are exposed to illness very easily. We understand the importance of seeing your child as soon as possible when they do get sick in order to initiate treatment quickly. This gets them back-to-school faster! We, therefore, often have same-day appointments readily available. Below are the added services we offer in our office for our sick patients.

  • Rapid diagnostics tests are done in the office, when indicated
  • Breathing treatments for children with asthma
  • Blood work is done in our office, when indicated. We have a result within minutes for most tests
  • Certain injectable medications, when indicated
  • Minor emergencies can be taken care of in our office, such as suture placement and removal, splints for broken bones, abscess drainage
